about Emilio Flores
RAISED BY TAQUEROS
I am a 3rd generation Taquero, entrepreneur and small business owner. I was born and raised in Sacramento, by my grandmother and father, who still operate Taqueria Jalisco, located in Downtown Sacramento, since 1974. I would say over the years of working and learning along side them, I've curated my own style and form of hospitality. Since 2021, I have chosen to showcase an original intimate experience for the community by establishing the most sought out mobile food concept called Tacos 916 exclusively offering a modern mobile taco bar experience highlighting the artwork of taqueros. I consider my passion for cooking a form of art. I have always enjoyed engaging with others in the community & have discovered my talent of hosting gatherings and connecting people from all walks of life by "breaking bread" with loved ones and good company. Our tacos always give me a sense of nostalgia as they have brought me through many great moments in my life & cant wait to share those type of experiences with the world!
